Why We Like The Jetboil Genesis Base Camp 2 Burner Cooking System

The Jetboil Genesis Base Camp 2 Burner Cooking System is a compact two-burner stove system that runs on a standard 16.4-ounce propane bottle and allows us to whip up everything from bacon and eggs for breakfast to spaghetti and meatballs for dinner. We especially like that the compact design allows the stove to fold together and nest in the included pot for easy carrying up to camp, but also limits the amount of space the system takes up in the back of our rig when car camping.

The camping stove is fuel-efficient, compact, and easy to use, with adjustable flame control and a wind shield. Reviewers report being able to cook a variety of meals, even in challenging outdoor conditions. The stove is well-constructed and durable, with a nested design for easy transport and storage. You get what you pay for !!!

This is the best stove I have ever used with amazing simmer control and reliable pizo starters. The kit comes with a large pot and fry pan large enough to cook meals for a family. Super fuel efficient and expandable to add additional burners if for some reason your a Michelin rated backwoods chef. Fit and finish is all I have come to expect from jet boil I have 4 of their stoves and they are all amazing. Down sides are weight for all of their stoves when I do UL backpacking even netbooks lightest stove the stash stays home it car camping / RV or camping with boys scouts the netbooks are my go to.

It can cook in the worst conditions

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Up at 11,000 feet with 40 miles per hour winds and the Genesis Basecamp was the only stove out of three that we could cook with.

Great packaging to keep together!

Great bit of kit to add to your arsenal. It is compact enough to throw in a pack and large enough to make a good feed.

Great stove

Took a minute to figure out for the first use, but it’s great. I had a Coleman 2 burner previously, and this is a great stove that takes up half the space.

Fantastic Product. Truck Camping Must!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Love this stove set up, I’m one of those truck campers that likes to get a fancy as I can when I cook. I’ve done everything from crepes, to shaved steak sandwiches, to a full low country boil. The ability to really dial in the flame is a game changer. The set is expensive, but buy once, cry once, smile while you are cooking.

Compact

I have an overland sprinter van so this is nice when I want to cook with fire outside instead of the induction cooktop in the van. Everything store quick and easy in its own carrying case. The little propane bottles last quite a long time when using this. Not a huge fan of the lid for the pan but also don’t really use it at all for it to be an issue. Great little stove.
